ACFA  Annual Banquet and Show

This weekend was a time to shine for the batches of kittens born this spring.  We had some sex changing to do before we could show those darn squirmy long haired smokes!!!

We sadly found out one of the kitten's careers had to end suddenly due to a kink in her tail we found when we were bathing her in the hotel room the night before the show.  We gave her a couple rings just in case we want to use her as a Household Pet in the future.  My Cream Cameo was met with a lot of potential which is a lot to say for a female showing.  My Red Tabby was changed for coloration the judges decided to drop the Tabby part which was met with some dismay to another exhibitor.  A lot of talking for a kitten that was seeing his forever home the very next day after the show, but he had some finals a few times and was mentioned some more times.  My older girls had plenty of competition and they did pretty well for one being just out of the kitten ring and the other had not shown in quite a few months due to having kittens of her own.

We had some great winners at the banquet however we had CDreams Ozzy Pawsbourne of Wicked Pets come out in 19th InterAmerican.  We also had Minnesota Storm of Wicked Pets come out as 8th place for InterAmerican Household pets as well as Miss Wednesday Adams of Wicked Pets, who we thought would never get used to people much less be able to show come out in 12th InterAmerican Household Pets. The Real Surprise is that I was awarded Second Best Pet Haven in for Household Pets who show.  It was amazing as well as an honor.
